Good Mirrors Institute

Our programs use art to create healing environments that build community, connection and ignite dialogue.

Some of our experiences include:

  • multi-generational conversations with leading artists and professionals in media and tech

  • experimental art schools featuring holistic wellness and somatic practitioners

  • interactive visual arts exhibitions and dreamspaces

  • collage and vision board workshops

  • creative-making “play dates” and more

We thoughtfully collaborate with mission-aligned brands and organizations to:

  • provide grant funding and professional development opportunities for emerging and established Black women leaders

  • create content and initiatives that authentically amplify the perspectives and experiences of Black women and girls at scale

  • develop culturally relevant engagement strategies that drive awareness and support narrative change

SheaMoisture x GOOD MIRRORS

GOOD MIRRORS partnered with SheaMoisture to develop their 2023 tentpole strategy across key cultural moments such as Black History Month, Women’s History Month and Pride. As part of this, we developed Black Beauty: The Blueprint campaign to celebrate Black women’s impact on the beauty industry.

We crafted the VO for the campaign hero film and interviewed the 11 featured talent, including Emmy award-winning custom designer Zerina Akers, philanthropist Tina Knowles, and celebrated celebrity hair stylist Ursula Stephen. We also led the design of the Blueprint Grant.

Services provided: copywriting, content strategy, social impact strategy and post production edit oversight.
